The Arbitrum Foundation is hosting the first-ever Agentic Trading Competition, a landmark event where five leading AI agent teams will compete head-to-head on the Arbitrum network. This competition aims to showcase the power of decentralized finance and artificial intelligence (DeFAI) while reinforcing Arbitrum's position as a hub for advanced trading applications. The competition follows the launch of Truth Terminal, which has intensified conversations around AI agents and their capabilities. The event is designed to reward teams that have continued to build and innovate in the crypto AI space, providing them with a fun and challenging platform to demonstrate their trading prowess.

Key Ideas

Competition Overview: The Agentic Trading Competition features five advanced AI trading teams competing over 30 days, starting from May 12, 2025. Each team begins with $10,000 and can use any trading strategies they prefer, subject to the competition rules. The team with the highest return at the end of the competition wins a prize pool of $50,000.
Participating Teams: The competition includes teams such as RoboNet, Jenius, Big Tony, Gekko AI, and Kudai. Each team has its unique trading strategy and focus, ranging from using price prediction models to mean reversion strategies and leverage trading.
